The smaller fan zone at Neuer Platz square offers space for 6,000 people. There is a direct footpath connecting the fan zones at the Exhibition Grounds and that on Neuer Platz. All matches will be shown live on a 40m² video wall.

The fan zone will open daily at 9:00 in the morning and is open for everybody. At 2:00 in the afternoon, the entertainment programme with DJs, VJs and MCs will begin. Culinary demands will be fulfilled by six catering units.

There will also be entertainment on days without matches. In cooperation with the Carinthian Museum of Modern Art, "Art Days" will be held on 23 and 24 June. On 27 June, the Charity Day, bands will play for free. Christina Stürmer and band will perform on 28 June.

Neuer Platz square offers the typical atmosphere that is so characteristic of a small city such as Klagenfurt. Located in the old city centre, the square is home to Klagenfurt's heraldic beast, the lindworm dragon. Encased in plexiglass for safety reasons, the lindworm is still accessible for tourists.
