THE GANG

6th June
19.00
"Born to be wild", "Smoke on the water" or "I'm a believer". The Gang make sure that classics are not forgotten. Groove with the band of international band members to the Rock/Pop hits of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Great Pretender

6th June
21.00

Of course, there will never be a second Freddie Mercury. But if there is one who could succeed him then it's Stephan Eberhardt. With "The Great Pretender" the charismatic singer has gathered interesting musicians around himself who prove with professionalism and individual musical flair that the Queen sound is immortal. Incredibly realistic in their gestures, voices and outfits, the quintet recalls the wonderful tunes of their idols. Extravagant outfits, props and pyrotechnics result in an exciting performance with theatrical highlights.

MAMBO KURT

8th June
16.00

You might be put off when you first hear his voice and the bewitching electric organ music. But after the first few bars you will change your mind as Mambo Kurt turns out to be an amusing, if a bit crazy solo entertainer. When he plays, you'll see that your feet just don't want to stay still no matter how much you try.
Mambo Kurt covers everything that falls into his hands and does it with so much humour, genuineness and musicality that you'll simply have to listen.

Jennifer Rostock

June 12th
2.30 pm
Ideal is a thing of the past - today there is Jennifer Rostock. The German band has been rocking in the clubs of the Berlin scene for some months. The first single, "Kopf oder Zahl", got the audience excited in February at Stefan Raab's Bundesvision Contest.

SPORTFREUNDE STILLER

Sportfreunde Stiller
12th June
15.45
Flo, Peter and Rüde already composed a battle song for the 2006 World Cup. They continuously reinvent their music. They play Rock, Alternative, Pop or Punk, but most importantly, all their songs are in German: join in the singing, dancing and party with great, lively singalong music. The texts describe things as they are, complicated and yet ordinary. With a nature that brings them close to their audience, these three guys from Munich have already made it into the hearts of many listeners. When Sportfreunde Stiller rock, the last thing you think of is the end.

INVISIBLE TOUCH

14th June
16.00
Warning! Confusion cannot be ruled out! When the 10-member German band with their lead singer Ralf Piepers perform, Phil Collins or Genesis are not far away. Since Ralf's voice really sounds like Phil's, it makes sense that Invisible Touch also sing his songs; with which they have gained many fans. Due to their years of experience on the stage and Collins-Genesis Pop, Invisible Touch succeed in satisfying their fans again and again.

CROATIAN LIVE BAND - "TITAN"

16th June
18.00
They enthral the masses, make the audience rave and were labelled one of the best Croatian cover bands throughout Europe by the local press: TITAN. It is even more astounding that the five band members are not from Croatia at all but from the German side of the marvellous Lake Constance. For ten years, the five full-blooded musicians have been touring through half of Europe at the weekends and have already proved with the 2006 World Cup in Germany that they can make the blood of several thousands of fans boil with their live show and seemingly infinite repertoire.

ROAD 66

17th June
18.00
For 13 years the five band members of Road 66 have been performing on stage together. They have already played with Austria3, Naked Lunch, Sportfreunde Stiller and Joe Cocker. Christian Schmied (bass), Patrick Napetschnig (guitar), Mario Schmied (lead guitar) and Rudi Erlacher (vocals) are local heroes who cover everything they enjoy listening to themselves: HIM, Bloodhound Gang, Green Day, Creed and many more. "St:Eve" is their latest album with songs they produced themselves. 13 years have been plenty to perfect their musical quality and enthral their fans.

SORGENTE

19 June
6:00 pm

You don't look for the Groove you just find it.
in fact it is truer to say it finds you, grabs you, shakes you around and life is never the same again.
This is what happened to the seven young musicians from Munich. Originally an acoustic formation, they have created and perfected a sound over the past three years that seems not only to have reeled in and absorbed the whole history of music of the past 40 years, but that has an amazingly ubiquitous binder - the Groove we just mentioned that hoops everyone in - plus incredible levels of sheer love and creativity they injected into what they do and the sound-visions that burst out of their playing. Musically this band has a pulsing geographical lifeline that lies somewhere near the timeless Caribbean metropolis cities of Kingston & Havana, the Swinging London of the sixties or George Clinton's Chocolate City Detroit of the 1970ies.

SZENARIO

20th June
17.40
21st June
18.00
Szenario gives the audience the feeling of having just landed in a film scene with background music. In his hometown of Vienna, he has enough possibilities to transfer everyday situations into lyrics and instrumental, alternative Hip Hop. The solo performer collaborates with other performers to create varied beats that invite you to dance and also to relax.

LIQUIDO

Liquido
22nd June
18.00
Well, who doesn't know Liquido? Since 1998 their songs have been played back and forth at parties and have been covered countless times. The song "Narcotic" was a worldwide chart hit and awards, nominations and sold out concerts followed. The four German friends wrote several songs for commercials and films ("More Ants in the Pants", "Igby goes down") and also started solo projects. Now the band Liquido is back again with their new album "Zoomcraft", with new songs and a mix of Rock, Pop, Indie and Electro.

THE PURE

25 June
6:00 pm

Jasmin Waibl-Stockner and Raimund Waibl, alias THE PURE are a rock-duo known far beyond the Austrian borders. The duo have had over 1600 live gigs, recorded six albums with numerous single releases and have composed and written a huge number of great songs over the past 12 years. THE PURE are not only one of the most energetic and active live bands, THE PURE are one of the few Austrian acts to have made it and who can actually live from their music.

EXCUSE ME MOSES

Excuse me Moses

26th June
18.00
When their music is played on the radio, you'd think it was a new band from the USA. But Excuse Me Moses are newcomers from Austria who produce the finest rock music of international quality. In 2007 they received the Austrian Newcomer Award, released their first album "1st last Will", performed at the Donauinselfest and Nova Rock festivals among others, gave their own concerts, were on camera for the Falco film and produced the soundtrack to Ski Challenge 08.
Paukee (vocals), Diz (guitar), Basstard (bass) and Scheer (drums) not only rock the stage, they make whole events rock.
So why apologise? The band is less interested in apologising and more interested in the term Moses in their name. For them, Moses symbolises the commands, rules and laws that limit our freedom. The rebels want to break these limits and do their own thing.

GIN TONIC

27 June
7:00 pm

A cover rock band to make every wish come true. Starting with a big seventies repertoire they home in right down to all the latest rock songs. Gin Tonic bring everything you need to dance, to swing, to sing. These five full-blooded musicians guarantee an incredible atmosphere and they have ten years of band history behind them.

Mek MC

28th June
18.00
Since 2004, finally Carinthia too has had the Hip Hop. Mek MC is the Xavier Naidoo of German Hip Hop, but he does not sing his lyrics, he raps them. The 25-year old Carinthian is rapper, songwriter and producer all at the same time. In 2004 he released his first album "Tiefsinn im Text" and toured with it to the neighbouring countries. Mek MC is everything else but an ordinary hip hopper, because he bears little resemblance to the gangster hip hop attitude. His lyrics deal with the subject of God and the belief in oneself; without any slang sayings he wants to confront his audience and can also bewitch non-hiphoppers. Now his second album "Metanoia" will be released which was produced in cooperation with the American producer Tony Stone and several guests.

Christina STÜRMER and Band

Christina Stürmer and Band

28th June
19.00

The "American Dream" from rags to riches has found its Austrian version: from bookseller to pop star, Christina Stürmer has exchanged her passion for books for music - and her success speaks for this decision. Now the 24-year old young woman from Upper Austria sings songs in German that tell their own stories. After she finished second on the casting show, Starmania, the albums "Freier Fall" and "Soll das wirklich sein" followed, which were later reworked in "Schwarz/Weiß". With this album she broke through the national border and also captured the neighbouring countries with her music. The superwoman leaves hardly anyone cold.

SUNRISE AVENUE

Sunrise Avenue

29th June
18.00
The crazy Finns .
The fantastic success story of Sunrise Avenue continues inexorably. Although, Sunrise Avenue have already achieved a lot more than they ever dreamed was possible. In Finland, where their album was awarded platinum, they have become superstars and have literally been showered with prizes and awards, among which is also the EMMA Award for Best Newcomer, the country's best distinction for musicians. With "Heal Me", now the third single, they jumped straight into the German Airplay-Top-100 where, besides the two top hits "Fairytale Gone Bad" and "Forever Yours" that have also won awards, Sunrise Ave is currently the most played act on German radio stations after Nelly Furtado. Even the jump across the pond seems to be not far off. "Sunrise Avenue celebrated on Sunset Boulevard" - that would be a perfect headline for these great Finnish guys and their hot Rock'n'Roll.
