27. Why isn't the webcam installed in the stadium so that the EURO matches can be watched?
Watching the matches via a webcam is not legally possible because the broadcasting rights for the matches are bought by TV stations such as ORF or Premiere. If the webcam were mounted providing a view of the field, it would have to be turned off during the matches, for example, as is the case at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
28. May I take pictures in the stadium?
Yes, taking pictures is no problem. However, photos of the stadium must not be used for product advertising without permission.

1. When will the fan zones and fan miles in the city centre of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee be open?
The Exhibition Grounds and Neuer Platz fan zones will be open throughout the duration of the UEFA EURO 2008T, from 7th June 2008 until 29th June 2008. 10. Oktoberstrasse fan mile: from 7th until 29th June 2008, opening times: 2pm until midnight.
City Centre fan mile and culture mile: from 7th until 17th June 2008, opening times: 2pm until midnight.
2. Which businesses can apply for a stand at the fan mile?
The deadline for applications has already expired. Registrations are no longer possible.

4. As the owner of a café in Klagenfurt I have a garden with tables and chairs. Do I have to obtain a special permit for the period of the EURO?
No, if you already have a permit you don't have to request another one just for the EURO. An extension of the garden is no longer possible.
5. Where can I get a permit for mobile distribution (streets, squares, pavements, connecting paths, etc.) of free promotional material, etc. within and outside the city centre fan mile?
The distribution of free promotional material is special use of public property. A permit according to the road traffic regulations (StVO) is required. 6. Where can I get a permit for mobile distribution (streets, squares, pavements, connecting paths, etc.) of various goods, etc. within and outside the city centre fan mile?
The sale of goods by means of a vendor's tray is prohibited (GewO trade regulations).

Not all streets within the ring will be closed from 1pm. Strictly speaking, only the streets within the zone of Ursulinengasse - Dr. Hermanngasse - Paulitschgasse - Mießtalerstrasse - Adlergasse - Getreidegasse - Priesterhausgasse - Bahnhofstrasse-Nord - Waaggasse - Theatergasse will be closed. Any deliveries to these streets have to be made before 1pm. There won't be access permits for suppliers.

18. How do I get from one fan zone to the other?
There is a connecting path between the Exhibition Grounds and the Neuer Platz fan zones which on foot will take you 10 minutes to reach the other fan zone. Detailed signposting will guide you easily from one place to the other.
19. How do I get from the fan zones to the train station, to the city centre, etc.?
The Exhibition Grounds fan zone is approx. 10 minutes on foot from the Neuer Platz fan zone in the city centre. To the train station it's a 5-minute walk. The stadium is approx. 2.5 km away and can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. As the fan zones are very centrally located and Klagenfurt is a small city, you won't need any transport and can reach everything on foot.
20. What public means of transport are recommended?

21. Will there be internet access at the fan zones?
No, there won't be internet access at the fan zones. However, opposite the Exhibition Grounds fan zone (opposite exhibition hall 5) there is an internet café.
22. What is the best starting point for me in the fan zones?
There will be mobile and stationary fan embassies in the fan zones that can provide you with information in your native language. The stationary fan embassy will be situated in front of exhibition hall 5 (next to the Exhibition Grounds fan zone).

23.What programme will be offered at times when there are no matches?
We would like to offer something for everyone and make the fan zone attractive even on days without matches. There will be 15 days of concerts. The highlights are performances by famous bands such as "Sportfreunde Stiller", "Christina Stürmer" and "Sunrise Avenue". Of course, all admissions are free!!
Apart from music, there will also be a cultural offer. On 23rd and 24th June the Culture Days will take place in cooperation with the "Carinthian Museum of Modern Art".
On 18th June the "Euro School Tournament" will be opened. All over Austria, school children will act out the EURO 2008 wearing the kits of the participating nations.
