Approximately 700 delegates and 600 representatives from the media from all over Europe are currently in the Swiss city to attend the draw for the European Football Championship. The delegation from Klagenfurt includes the Mayor of the city, Vice-Mayor Walter Zwick, chairman of the Klagenfurt EURO organisation committee 2008 Arnulf Rainer, director of the municipal authority Dr. Peter Jost and CEO of the company managing the stadium Manfred Pock. The representatives of all the host cities are of course speculating about the draw on Sunday. Mayor Harald Scheucher said in Lucerne: "I have said it several times already: it would, of course, be great if Italy, Germany and France would play in Klagenfurt. We are simply looking forward to welcoming Europe and celebrating football.
