The EURO Experience Tour is something very special: it brings the European Championship Cup to the respective host city. At the beginning of April tour and cup travelled to Klagenfurt.

More than 9,000 visitors came to the word's largest inflatable tour tent erected next to the Wörthersee Stadium which for three days accommodated the famous Henri Delaunay Trophy. Of course, everybody wanted to take a photo home with them. Amid tight security - the cup is after all made of sterling silver, weighing eight kilos - one could have an instant photo taken as a souvenir.
The waiting time was shortened with a great film and sound show. An emotional video showed all European Championship finals so far as well as the goals scored in them. Also, all predecessors of this year's "Europass" tournament ball were exhibited and the interested visitors could see that tournament balls are subject to fashion too.

At the opening of the Experience Tour Mayor Harald Scheucher expressed the hope that one of the teams playing in Klagenfurt would be able to receive the cup and was pleased with the successful film "that shows the emotions of this big sports event so wonderfully".
