Klagenfurt's EURO Office invited to an "Open Day" on Saturday when citizens could find out about all matters concerning the European Championship and the tasks and work of the EURO Office.
The new citizen information folder containing all important information for Klagenfurt about the EURO was presented at the same time.
Mayor Harald Scheucher who started the "Open Day" off emphasised that with this event all citizens should have the possibility to take a look behind the scenes of the EURO Office and the Organising Committee. "Here people work hard and intensely so that the matches in Klagenfurt will become a real football festival", said Scheucher who also welcomed to this event Deputy Mayor Walter Zwick, City Councillors Albert Gunzer and Michael Matzan as well as all members of the Organising Committee. The latter were available for giving information. Furthermore, all plans and a multimedia show could be viewed on the first floor of Europahaus. Regarding the new citizen information folder, which was designed by the team of the "Klagenfurt" newspaper, Scheucher was of the opinion that this really answers (almost) all questions the citizens may have. This folder is available free of charge at the city hall and the EURO Office and will be sent to every household as a supplement to the next "Klagenfurt" newspaper.
